Whether we haven't seen you in awhile or maybe haven't met you yet, we wanted give you a chance to get to know us and what our relationship is all about. We have some "quick facts" down below that sum up some highlights, but we wanted to include a bunch of pictures that hopefully tell a better story than what we could write!
We have only a few rules in our relationship rule book, but one of them is "Always Be Goofin'"- which essentially means that, no matter what, we should always work to have fun with each other and never take ourselves too seriously. You will probably see this as a reoccurring theme in our pictures since we love to spend time with each other and make each other laugh.
Fun Facts About Our Relationship
- We've been together for +/- 6 years now after getting together in 2018 (although we actually met and dated briefly in high school!)
- Hammy (our lizard) came home in September of 2020. His first ride in a car was in the little Miata!
- We were long distance (Kaitlyn was in Kent, Dylan in Pittsburgh) until 2021 when Dylan (somewhat reluctantly!) moved to Ohio.
- Playing Stardew Valley was almost a nightly occurrence during college .. even though we should have been working on something!
- Derky (our kitty) was adopted in 2021 around Memorial Day & he quickly become our bestest booger baby :)
- The Beeds (beetles) were called in during 2022 because we always had too many leaf scraps from Ham's salads!
- We bought a quaint little old house together in 2023 in Rocky River, Ohio. Can you guess who wanted the 2-car garage??
- We got engaged in 2023 on Kaitlyn's birthday - despite Dylan swearing he would never propose on a birthday or holiday!
- Dylan makes Kaitlyn coffee every morning ... for his own safety >:)
- It is a rule in our house that dinner must have bread or pasta (but ideally both)!
- We both agree that we are best friends :")
